Jonathan App is a tool for worship teams. The data controller is [FULL NAME / COMPANY], contact: [CONTACT E-MAIL] ("we").
We only process what the service needs to work:
| Data | Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| e-mail, display name, password (stored only as a scrypt hash) | account, sign-in, password reset | contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) |
| church membership, role, instrument, musical preferences, notes | service features (team organization, keys, practice) | contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) |
| sign-in timestamps, IP address in server logs | security, abuse prevention | legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) |
We do not profile you, sell your data, or send marketing without separate consent. Song lyrics and the church name are content you enter, and your community is responsible for the rights to use them.
Our servers are in Warsaw, Poland (OVH) — data stays within the European Economic Area. Connections are encrypted (HTTPS), passwords are stored only as irreversible cryptographic hashes (scrypt), and backups are encrypted (AES-256).
We use OVH (hosting, EU) and — for transactional e-mail — Brevo (EU). We have GDPR-compliant data processing agreements with both.
For as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, personal data is erased immediately and disappears from backups within 7 days at the latest (backup rotation).
You have the right to access, rectify, erase (the "Delete account" button in settings, or an e-mail to us), restrict processing, and to data portability, and you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
We use a single essential session cookie (to keep you signed in). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
